Introduzione
Spesso, nel corso del gioco, il display del vostro
telefono cellulare si illuminerà, consentendovi così di
ascoltare i vari messaggi che serviranno a procedere
nelle vostre indagini, per cui fate molta attenzione.
Al termine del filmato introduttivo, vi troverete sul
luogo del delitto. Parlate con Ryan e ponetegli le
seguenti domande:
1) “So what time did you first see the victim?”
2) “Had you ever seen before?”
3) “Did one of her tips go south on you?”
4) “Can you tell us where you were before you found the
victim?”
5) “Would you mind moving your cart outside of the crime
scene area for us?”
Al termine del dialogo, voltatevi e mettetevi alla
ricerca di qualche indizio, quindi zoomate sulla
bottiglia d'acqua e aggiungetela al fascicolo del caso.
Voltatevi di nuovo verso Ryan, ed osservando l'ombra
dell'uomo noterete un pezzo di carta per terra (foto 1),
quindi zoomate: sembra un biglietto da visita!
Prendetelo ed mettetelo nel vostro inventario insieme
alla bottiglia d'acqua. Raccogliete il secondo pezzo di
carta, necessario per ricomporre il biglietto che si
trova vicino al bidone dell'immondizia (foto 2), e
mettetelo nel vostro inventario.
Avvicinatevi ora al lato sinistro dell'ambulanza (sopra
alla cannuccia) (foto 3) e raccogliete il terzo pezzo di
carta, quindi mettetelo assieme agli altri. Zoomate
vicino al cappello ed ecco che troverete gli altri tre
pezzetti mancanti (foto 4), cliccate e ricomponetelo
utilizzando i pezzi precedentemente raccolti (foto 5).
Zoomate sulla medaglietta a forma di osso, con inciso il
nome “Bingo” (foto 6) e raccoglietela. Dal vostro
inventario, selezionate la bottiglia d'acqua,
trascinatela sulla pagina degli oggetti da far
analizzare al laboratorio criminale e premete sulla
scritta SUBMIT. Selezionate la mappa e recatevi da
Leonard Gower, quindi ponetegli le seguenti domande:
1) “You know of anyone who might want to kill her?”
2) “Any of her clients unhappy with her performance?”
3) “Why did she leave her job here at Gower
Investments?”
4) “Do you know where her family is located?”
Al termine del dialogo, selezionate la mappa e recatevi
da Saheed Singh (Singh, Wolfe & Singh) e ponete le
seguenti domande:
1) “Do you know why Ms. Russ left her job at Gower
Investments?”
2) “What was so special about her disaster?”
3) “Were there a lot of people who wouldn't want to see
that happen?”
4) “Was she going to make a deal with the Feds ?”
5) “Was this her only deal the Feds were looking into?”
Controllate i messaggi sul vostro telefonino,
selezionate la mappa e recatevi al laboratorio
criminale, quindi osservate i risultati delle analisi
effettuate sulla bottiglia d'acqua.
Selezionate nuovamente la mappa e recatevi da Bobby
Sloan, quindi fategli le seguenti domande:
1) “What time did you see the victim?”
2) “Did you happen to notice if she carried a lot of
cash on her?”
3) “Did you see her here with anyone that morning?”
4) “What kind of dog did the guy you saw have ?”
5) “Did you hear what the victim and the guy were
talking about?”
6) “Would you recognize the man if you saw him again?”
7) “Did the victim and the man she was with leave
together ?”
8) “What time did your supplier get to you?”
Al termine del dialogo dal vostro inventario, osservate
la foto di Bobby e nel fascicolo dei sospetti,
trascinatela e premete su SUBMIT (foto 7).
A questo punto selezionate la mappa e recatevi da Laurie
Russ, ponete alla donna le seguenti domande:
1) “Do you know anyone who might have wanted to see her
dead?”
2) “Were you an investor in any of your mother's deals?”
3) “Why were you and your mother on bad terms?”
4) “Do you run every morning?”
5) “Did anyone see you running around 5am on May 10th?”
Dopo aver parlato con il patologo, avvicinatevi al
tavolo a destra (accanto ai piedi del cadavere),
esaminate e aggiungete al vostro inventario i seguenti
referti: i capelli trovati sotto le unghie della
vittima, la saliva, l'orologio, le tracce di metallo
trovavate sul collo della vittima ed il campione di
sangue. Zoomate sul portafoglio e cliccate sulla chiave
d'argento che sporge nell'angolo destro del portafogli
(foto 8), quindi raccoglietela e mettetela nel vostro
inventario. Ora spostatevi leggermente a destra e
leggete il rapporto dell'autopsia, che si trova sul
tavolo accanto (foto 9), quindi aggiungetelo al vostro
inventario. A questo punto selezionate ancora
l'inventario e aggiungete i seguenti referti da
sottoporre alle analisi di laboratorio: i capelli, la
saliva e il campione di sangue.
Selezionate la mappa e recatevi nell'appartamento della
vittima, quindi avvicinatevi al cassetto della scrivania
e zoomate. Cliccate ora sull'icona della chiave
precedentemente raccolta ed aprite il cassetto (foto
10). Al suo interno troverete una seconda chiave color
oro: prendetela e mettetela nel vostro inventario.
Osservate il cestino dei rifiuti che si trova sotto la
scrivania e raccogliete foglio di carta (foto 11).
Osservate la foto sopra la scrivania (foto 12) e
prendete nota dei numeri scritti, quindi voltatevi e
cliccate sul quadro sopra il tavolo (foto 13). Troverete
ora una cassaforte a combinazione: quest'ultima, per una
fortunata serie di coincidenze, corrisponde proprio ai
numeri scritti sulla foto, ovvero 40718. Una volta
aperta la cassaforte, leggete il documento che si trova
in basso a sinistra (foto 14).al vostro inventario
aggiungete la chiave color oro alla lista degli oggetti
su cui effettuare delle ricerche. A questo punto
selezionate la mappa e recatevi da Bart Corchran, e
fategli le seguenti domande:
1) “How long had you known the victim?”
2) “Did she have any enemies?”
3) “So why did you buy her that apartment?”
4) “So did you leave her or was it the other way round?”
5) “We have to ask you where you were on the morning of
May 10. Around 5 a.m.?”
6) “Did she run everyday?”
7) “Do you know if the victim had a dog?”
Al termine del dialogo selezionate la mappa e recatevi
alla scientifica, quindi osservate i risultati dei
referti. A questo punto dovreste trovarvi
automaticamente alla centrale di polizia, se così non
fosse selezionate la mappa e recatevi al 27th Precinct.
Varcate la porta con scritto “Records & Surveillance” e
parlate con Scott Donovan, quindi leggete il rapporto su
Bobby Sloan e sulla chiave color oro trovata
nell'appartamento delle vittima, dopodiché metteteli nel
vostro inventario. Selezionate la mappa e recatevi
nuovamente da Bart Corchran, quindi fategli le seguenti
domande:
1) “Why were you at the safety deposit box the day
before her murder?”
2) “Maybe the same documents Jenny was looking for?
Since she went there a few hours after you?”
3) “Maybe there was something in that safe deposit box
that implicated you in the I.P.O. catastrophe?”
4) “Did you lose a lot of money on the Bio-Norm I.P.O.
deal?”
Al termine del colloquio, selezionate la mappa e
recatevi a casa di Lucy Traine, quindi interrogatela
ponendole le seguenti domande:
1) “You sure it wasn't because you had lost most of your
savings?”
2) “Were you upset she didn't call you before the
Bio-Norm stock tanked?”
3) “Did you know Jenny was the target of a federal
investigation into her trading?”
4) “When was the last time you spoke with her?”
5) “Happen to be running in the park the morning of May
10th?”
6) “Did Jenny have a dog?”
Al termine del dialogo, rileggete le risposte ed
aggiungetele al vostro inventario. Selezionate la mappa
e recatevi nuovamente da Bart Corchran, per
interrogarlo:
1) “Why did you lie?”
2) “What did you two argue about?”
3) “Maybe she was mad because whatever you removed from
the safe deposit box, was the evidence she needed?”
4) “You knew her morning jogging routine, didn't you?”
Al termine dell'interrogatorio aggiungete le risposte di
Bart al vostro inventario, dopodiché sempre dal vostro
inventario selezionatele, cliccate sul fascicolo con la
scritta “warrant tab” sulla destra e trascinate la
fotografia di Bart nella finestra con la scritta “search
warrant request”, quindi nello spazio con la scritta
“supporting evidence & witness”. Trascinate nello stesso
spazio la foto di Lucy Traine e il rapporto con la
ricerca fatta sulla chiave trovata nell'appartamento
della vittima (foto 15): in questo modo otterrete un
mandato di perquisizione. Recatevi nell'appartamento di
Bart, fermatevi in corridoio in modo da notare due album
di fotografie (foto 16): bene, zoomate sull'album e
osservate la fotografia.
Ora dirigetevi verso la cucina ed osservate la cartolina
attaccata al frigorifero (foto 17): attenzione, sembra
che la cartolina sia stata spedita dalle Bermuda,
probabilmente per un errore di ortografia c'è scritto
BERMDA. Vi renderete conto ben presto che l'errore non è
casuale, entrate dunque nella camera da letto ed
osservate il computer che si trova sulla scrivania (foto
18): chiaramente vi occorre la password! Premete ora sul
tasto “forgot password” ed ecco che vi sarà richiesto di
digitare la “Monique” (è superfluo dirvi che per
inserire la password dovete premere i tasti della vostra
tastiera e non quella del PC che si trova nel gioco
vero!).
Chiaramente la password è sbagliata! Vi ricordate la
cartolina appesa al frigorifero? Provate ad inserire la
password BERMDA, che neanche a farlo apposta è quella
giusta, ed a questo punto potete aggiungere il PC al
vostro inventario. Sempre restando nella camera da letto
aprite il cassetto sul lato sinistro del mobile (foto
19) ed ecco che al suo interno troverete il PDA della
vittima (foto 20): bene, aggiungete al vostro inventario
il computer di Bart e il PDA assieme agli oggetti su cui
indagare. A questo punto selezionate la mappa e recatevi
da Laurie Russ, quindi ponetele le seguenti domande:
1) “Did your mom sue you for him, too?”
2) “Did you know he had dumped her?”
3) “By the way, have you got a dog?”
Al termine del dialogo, selezionate la mappa e tornate
sul luogo del delitto, zoomate sul bidone
dell'immondizia in modo da trovare un foglio di carta
stracciato: bene, raccoglietelo e aggiungetelo al vostro
inventario. Selezionate la mappa e tornate sul luogo del
delitto, cliccate sul bidone dell'immondizia (foto 21) e
raccogliete il foglio con le scommesse (foto 22) ed
aggiungetelo al vostro inventario. Selezionate la mappa
e recatevi al distretto di polizia, varcate la porta con
la scritta “Records & Research”, quindi leggete e
mettete nel vostro inventario il rapporto sul computer
della vittima. Ricordatevi di leggere anche i risultati
della ricerca fatta sul computer di Bart! Prendete la
mappa e recatevi da Lucas Allen (L&G Associates) e
ponetegli le domande seguenti:
1) “Did you know Jennie Russ?”
2) “Who is Stanton?”
3) “What happened on this last deal?”
4) “Did everyone at L&G lose money on that deal?”
5) “Did that winning streak you all seemed to be in on
come with a little insider help?”
6) “Do you have an alibi for the early morning of May
10?”
Riprendete la e andate a parlare con James Stanton,
quindi interrogatelo:
1) “How much did you lose on the deal?”
2) “Didn't you make a lot of money on some of her other
deals?”
3) “How did you become so interested in the bets Russ
made while she was at Gower Investments?”
4) “Did you recommend her plays to your colleagues?”
5) “So how did you get that bruise on your forehead?”
6) “You happen to be a dog lover?”
7) “Where were you around 5.15 a.m. on May 10?”
Nel vostro inventario, trascinate la foto di Stanton
nell'apposito spazio, tra le persone su cui fare delle
indagini, e tra le persone da sorvegliare. Tornate da
Bobby Sloan (foto 23), mostrategli la foto di James
Stanton, il foglio con le scommesse ed il rapporto di
Bobby Sloan, quindi chiedetegli “Are you absolutely sure
that the man in the picture is the one you saw with the
victim?”.
Tornate al distretto di polizia, varcate la porta con la
scritta “Sourveillance Unit” ed osservate il rapporto su
Stanton (se il rapporto è disponibile dovreste avere un
messaggio sul cellulare), quindi aggiungetelo al vostro
inventario. Ora varcate la porta con la scritta “Records
& Research” e leggete il rapporto su Stanton, quindi
aggiungetelo al vostro inventario. Selezionate la mappa
e recatevi dal veterinario, parlate con la dottoressa
Martinez e fatele le seguenti domande:
1) “What happened to the dog?”
2) “Did Mr. Stanton leave anything of the dog's behind?
A leash?”
3) “What was the dog's name?”
Aggiungete le risposte della dottoressa al vostro
inventario. Fatevi dare un mandato di perquisizione e
mettete gli elementi necessari come mostrato
nell'immagine (foto 24). A questo punto recatevi
nell'appartamento di Stanton, entrate in soggiorno e
cliccate sul divano, quindi raccogliete il pelo sul
cuscino e mettetelo nel vostro inventario. Entrate nella
camera da letto passando dalla porta della cucina (foto
25), cliccate sui guanti neri e aggiungeteli al vostro
inventario, quindi cliccate sulla pistola e
raccoglietela. Uscite dall'appartamento ed entrate
nell'atrio del palazzo, qui troverete un pacchetto
destinato a Stanton (foto 26).
Aggiungete il pelo raccolto sul divano e il pacchetto
destinato a Stanton con il materiale da far analizzare
al laboratorio, quindi aspettate che un messaggio sul
cellulare vi comunichi che sono pronti. Quando
riceverete il messaggio andate al laboratorio, leggete i
rapporti e aggiungeteli al vostro inventario: bene, è
arrivato il momento di emettere un mandato di arresto!
Selezionate il fascicolo con la scritta “Arrest warrant
request” e trascinate i testimoni e le prove come
mostrato nell'immagine (foto 27), quindi assistete al
filmato.
Seconda Parte
Leggete i documenti che si trovano sulla vostra
scrivania, zoomate sul computer e cliccate nelle sezioni
“Questioning the witnesses” e “Hearsay Rule”. Nel
frattempo le indagini proseguono, quindi sottoponete la
pistola di Stanton al laboratorio delle analisi e
richiedete una perizia psichiatrica per Stanton: per
farlo sarà sufficiente cliccare sull'apposita etichetta
e trascinare la sua fotografia! Provate a passare alla
scientifica per vedere se il rapporto sulla pistola è
pronto (in caso contrario aspettate che un messaggio sul
telefonino vi avverta), quindi leggete il rapporto e
mettetelo nel vostro inventario.
In ogni caso la ricerca non sarà completa e Paul Kim vi
dirà che continueranno a cercare altri indizi, per cui
dovrete aspettare un altro messaggio. Quando Paul Kim vi
chiamerà, vi farà il nome di un certo Barney Ruggerio:
bene, selezionate la mappa sulla quale è apparsa una
nuova locazione e recatevi dall'uomo che si trova al
Paradise lost, quindi fategli le seguenti domande:
1) “Did you file a report that the gun was lost or
stolen?”
2) “Where do you work?”
3) “When did you give the gun to Stanton?”
4) “Did Stanton say why he needed a gun?”
5) “Who told you Stanton needed a gun?”
6) “Come on, what can you give us on Stanton?”
A questo punto sul lato destro dei vostri monitor
apparirà l'inventario, ma per il momento non c'è nulla
che vi occorre. Uscite ed aggiungete le risposte di
Barney al vostro inventario, quindi selezionate la sua
fotografia e mettetela sotto sorveglianza. Controllate
il vostro telefono cellulare: bene, dovrebbe esserci un
messaggio di Herb Gardner. Selezionate la mappa e
recatevi presso la Produce Truckers' Union, quindi
sottoponetegli le seguenti domande:
1) “What exactly were Stanton's responsibilities?”
2) “Did Stanton report to you?”
3) “Did you notice anything irregular about his
investment activities?”
4) “Did you know a woman named Jenny Russ?”
5) “Why would Stanton have asked one of your union
members to get him a gun?”
6) “Do you know a union member named Barney Ruggerio?”
7) “Did you know Stanton set himself up in business with
a million dollar trading account after he left the
union?”
8) “Does your union generally hand out generous
severance packages?”
Qualora non l'aveste già fatto recatevi dallo psichiatra
e leggete il rapporto su Stanton, poi aggiungetelo al
vostro inventario. Selezionate il vostro inventario e
cliccate sull'etichetta gialla a destra con la scritta
“subpoena”. Trascinate i seguenti elementi alla voce
testimoni e mettete le fotografie di Lucy Traine, Bobby
Sloan, Consuelo Martinez. Come prove invece mettete la
medaglietta del cane, l'orologio, il pelo del cane, il
referto dell'autopsia, il rapporto sulle indagini su
James Stanton, il rapporto della sorveglianza su
quest'ultimo e il suo referto psichiatrico. Aggiungete
alle prove le analisi sul pelo del cane o i capelli
trovati sotto le unghie della vittima (sceglietene uno,
vanno bene entrambi!), inoltre come prove aggiungete
anche il referto del laboratorio effettuati sul sangue e
sulla saliva (foto 28), (foto 29). Ora avete tutto ciò
che vi occorre per entrare in aula, quindi cliccate su
“Go to trial”. Chiamate come primo testimone Bobby Sloan
e fategli le seguenti domande:
1) “On the morning of May 10, did you see the victim,
Jenny Russ, speaking with a man while she was purchasing
water at your coffee cart?”
2) “Is that man in this courtroom today?”
3) “Were Ms. Russ and the defendant speaking?”
4) “Did you hear what they were speaking about?”
5) “Did Mr. Stanton have a dog with him?”
A questo punto la difesa interrogherà Bobby opponete
obiezione alle seguenti domande:
1) “Two hundred. That's a lot of people and I suppose
you always remember them all?”
2) “Wasn't the man unhappy because someone simply tried
to get in line ahead of him?”
Per opporre obiezione dovrete cliccare sulla mano alzata
quando Duncan terminerà la domanda (foto 30). Ora dalla
lista dei testimoni chiamate Lucy Traine e fatele le
seguenti domande:
1) “Were you a close friend of the victim's?”
2) “Can you tell the court if Ms. Russ owned a dog?”
3) “Did you ever see her pet a dog?”
4) “Did Ms. Russ ever speak with you about her other
investors?”
Quando Duncan interrogherà la donna opponete obiezione
alla seguente domanda:
“And you were angry with her because you realized she
wasn't such a good friend after all, weren't you?”
A questo punto fate a Lucy questa domanda:
“Why did you leave that note for the victim?”
Dall'elenco dei testimoni chiamate a testimoniare la
dottoressa Consuelo Martinez: ecco l'elenco delle
domande da farle:
1) “How long had you provided veterinary care to Mr.
Stanton's dog?”

Quando Duncan interrogherà la donna, opponete obiezione
alla seguente domanda:
“In your opinion as a licensed veterinarian, had the dog
eaten rat poison when Mr. Stanton was not at home?”

detective Lennie Briscoe e selezionate dalla lista

Quando Duncan interrogherà l'uomo opponete obiezione

Questa volta quando Duncan interrogherà la donna non
opponete obiezione a nessuna domanda, dopodiché fatele
queste altre due domande:
1) “Did the defendant tell you how he felt about putting
his dog to sleep?”
2) “Based on your evaluation, do you think he could have
killed his dog on purpose?”
Dall'elenco dei testimoni chiamate a testimoniare
Kathleen McDonnell, selezionate dall'elenco degli
argomenti il referto dell'autopsia e fatele la seguente
domanda:
“What was the victim's cause of death?”
Selezionate dalla lista degli argomenti l'orologio della
vittima, ecco le domande da fare:
1) “Besides the neck wound, were there any other
injuries?”
2) “Does the broken watch suggest a struggle?”
Ora selezionate Mark Rawlins dall'elenco dei testimoni,
quindi dall'elenco degli argomenti selezionate il
rapporto sulla pedinamento di James Stanton e fategli
questa domanda:
“Can you tell this court your observations during your
surveillance of the defendant?”
Scegliete Paul Kim dall'elenco dei testimoni,
dall'elenco degli argomenti scegliete “analisi di
laboratorio sul pelo del cane”, quindi fategli la
seguente domanda:
“What were your findings regarding the hairs from the
victim's nails and the hairs from the defendant's
apartment?”
Continuate ad interrogare l'uomo, scegliete dall'elenco
l'argomento “analisi del laboratorio sul sangue della
vittima” e scegliete questa domanda:
“What did your analysis of the victim's blood reveal?”,
continuate a interrogare Paul Kim e dall'elenco degli
argomenti scegliete” analisi del laboratorio effettuate
sulla saliva”.
Fategli ora queste domande:
1) “What was the result of your analysis of the saliva
on the victim's face?”
2) “As though a dog had licked her face?”
A questo punto cliccate sulla scritta “rest case”. Sul
vostro telefono cellulare dovreste avere tre messaggi,
ascoltateli tutti, dopodiché selezionate la mappa e
recatevi da Saheed Singh, quindi fategli queste domande:
1) “Did the government become suspicious because her
trades at DNP were so profitable?”
2) “What was the evidence Jenny said she had?”
3) “Did you know she kept an electronic file on her
business activities locked in a safety deposit box?”
4) “Who else besides Stanton was Jenny afraid of?”
5) “What kind of protection do you think Jenny was
looking for?”
Al termine del dialogo riprendete la mappa, andate da
Christina Brannon e fatele questa domanda:
“Can you give us anything on Russ'alleged criminal
activities?”
Cliccate sul rapporto con la ricerca effettuata, sul PDA
della vittima (anche il PDA normale va bene) e
proseguite con le seguenti domande:
1) “So have we got a deal then?”
2) “Didn't Russ and Stanton trade together when she
worked at DNP?”
3) “Do you think Jenny Russ was being paid by the
Mafia?”
4) “How much control does the Mafia have in the PTU?”
5) “So can you help us nail Stanton?”
Selezionate la mappa e recatevi in tribunale, Duncan
inizierà ad interrogare Charlie Rayn, quindi opponete
obiezione alla seguente domanda:
“You've never seen the defendant before, have you?”
Quando dovrete interrogarlo voi fate le seguenti
domande:
1) “Can you tell the court how this other woman was
dressed?”
2) “Have you ever seen joggers stop and speak with each
other during their morning exercise before?”
Al termine del dialogo Duncan interrogherà Bart
Corchran, quindi opponete obiezione alle seguenti
domande:
1) “So high strung that she had to take anti-depressants
to get over your affair?”
2) “But you were enraged with the victim when you
dropped her off at her apartment the night before her
murder, weren't you?”
Interrogate di nuovo Bart e fategli la seguente domanda:
“On the morning of May 10th at about five AM where were
you?”
Ora Duncan interrogherà James Stanton, quindi opponete
obiezione alle seguenti domande:
1) “Didn't the intimidation tactics employed by the
detectives cause you to withhold that information?”
2) “Which means there were plenty of people who were
more upset about it than you were, weren't there?”
3) “Mr. Stanton, you had absolutely no reason to want to
harm Jenny Russ, did you?”
Interrogate voi Jamse Stanton e fater le seguenti
domande:

A questo punto Duncan interrogherà Eva Stantron, quindi
opponete obiezioni alle seguenti domande:
1) “During that time your husband never mentioned Jenny

2) “Your husband has never behaved in a violent manner,
has he?”
Ora è il vostro turno, quindi ponete ad Eva le seguenti

A questo punto Duncan opporrà obiezione: avvicinatevi al
giudice e selezionate il seguente argomento: “The
witness does not meet the requirements of spousal
privilege since she and the defendant are no longer
married”, infine ponete ad Eva quest'ultima domanda:
“And did you know that your ex-husband had, in fact,
done something wrong?”
Duncan contro interrogherà Eva Stanton: bene, non
opponete obiezioni a nessuna domanda. Infine cliccate su
“rest case”. Selezionate la mappa e recatevi al
distretto di polizia, entrate nella porta con la scritta
“Surveillance Unit”, quindi leggete il rapporto su
Ruggerio e aggiungetelo al vostro inventario.
Selezionate la mappa e recatevi da quest'ultimo, quindi
cliccate sull'icona con il rapporto sulle indagini fatte
su di lui, poi fategli le seguenti domande:
1) “Would you rather we pin the charge on you for the
dead one or the one with bandaids who's still
breathing?”
2) “What was your problem with Singh?”
3) “Who gave you the assignment of keeping Singh quiet?”
4) “What can you give us on Stanton?”
5) “Did Stanton tell you why he wanted the gun?
Prendete la mappa e tornate da Saheed Singh, fategli
queste domande:
1) “Has Ruggerio or anyone from the union ever
approached you before?”
2) “Did Jenny Russ tell you about her financial
transactions when she worked for the union?”
Riprendete la mappa e recatevi da Lucas Allen fategli le
seguenti domande:
1) “How much money did you lose on the Bio-Norm I.P.O.?”
2) “How about you tell us why Stanton lost so much when
he knew the stock was going to tank ahead of time?”
3) “How about we put in a good word for you with the
feds?”
4) “What if we can get you a deal from the Feds?”
A questo punto apparirà l'inventario sul lato destro dei
vostri monitor, ma almeno per il momento non avete ciò
che vi occorre, quindi uscite ed aggiungete le sue
rispose al vostro inventario. Selezionate ora la mappa e
tornate da Christina Brannon, quindi fatele queste
domande:
1) “Would you be willing to make a deal with Allen in
exchange for his coming clean?”
2) “How about offering him immunity?”
Tornate nel vostro ufficio e prendete il fax di
Christina Brannon (lo trovate sulla destra), mettetelo
nel vostro inventario e tornate da Lucas Allen, quindi
usate il fax su di lui.
Dal vostro inventario cliccate sulla targhetta con la
scritta “rebuttal witness list” ed aggiungete Barney
Ruggerio e Lucas Allen. Tornate in tribunale e
interrogate Lucas Allen, quindi fategli le seguenti
domande:
1) “What was Mr. Stanton's trading history with the
victim?”
2) “So when Mr. Stanton got to L&G and Ms. Russ started
at Gower they basically just used the same scam?”
3) “Were you concerned about the general public?”
4) “Did Stanton mention to you that Jenny Russ could
incriminate him for any reason?”
Quando Duncan interrogherà Allen non opponete nessuna
obiezione, quindi scegliete Barney Ruggerio dall'elenco
dei testimoni e fategli queste domande:
1) “Have you ever met the defendant before?”
2) “Have you seen him since he left his position at the
union?”
3) “And then what?”
4) “Did Mr. Stanton say why he needed the gun?”
5) “Do you know who those people were?”
6) “After you sold Mr. Stanton the gun, did you see him
again?”
7) “Was that the morning of May 10th, the day Jenny Russ
was murdered?”
Quando Duncan opporrà obiezione scegliete il seguente
argomento:
“The statement should be admitted as an admission
against the defendant's interests.”
Infine ponete a Duncan quest'ultima domanda:
“When did you next see Mr. Stanton?”
Quando Duncan interrogherà l'uomo, opponete obiezioni
alla seguente domanda:
“Security, you mean like beating people up?”
